Lost Mary product names follow a consistent pattern, and reading them properly saves you buying the wrong thing. Every name on this page is built from the same three parts in the same order: the flavour, then the device platform, then the format. Strip a name down and it tells you everything except the strength.

Part one: the flavour word

The name always opens with the flavour — "Sakura Grape", "Green Grape", "Grape Berry", "Summer Grape", "Grape Ice" or simply "Grape". This is the only part that tells you how it will taste, so read the whole phrase rather than just spotting the word grape. What the name does not tell you is strength or price, both listed on each product. Almost everything in the grape family is 20mg, with the plain Grape BM6000 Prefilled Pod + Refill and the two 10ml bottles being the exceptions offering lower options. Grape in a prefilled pod versus grape in a 10ml bottle

This is the decision that trips up most people browsing a flavour category, because the same grape can reach you in two completely different packages. A prefilled pod arrives ready to use. This matters because model names like "BM6000" and "Nera 15k" are the manufacturer's naming for the platform rather than any guaranteed capacity or output. The pod in the box still holds 2ml. What differs between platforms is the hardware around it — coil design, airflow, battery, how the pod seats — not the volume of liquid you can legally be sold.

Refilling: the middle ground

The Prefilled Pod + Refill format is the one that confuses people most, and it is genuinely clever. You get a 2ml pod that is already filled and ready, plus a separate sealed 10ml bottle of the same liquid. When the pod runs low you top it back up from the bottle rather than binning the pod and fitting a new one. In practice one pod plus one refill bottle gives you considerably more liquid than a single sealed pod does, from one purchase, with one pod's worth of plastic.

Strength choice

Run the arithmetic and the picture is straightforward. A £4.95 sealed 2ml pod works out at roughly £2.48 per ml. A £2.95 10ml bottle works out at roughly 30p per ml. A £6.95 BM6000 pod plus refill gives you 12ml of liquid in total for roughly 58p per ml. A £7.95 Nera 15k pod plus refill gives you 12ml for roughly 66p per ml.

Bottles are far and away the cheapest per ml, but that comparison is incomplete, because a bottle needs a refillable device and a coil you will eventually replace. The pod-plus-refill formats sit in a sensible middle.

Mess, travel and everyday practicality
